Parts of Cape Town set to face nine hour water supply interruptions

The City of Cape Town water and sanitation directorate will be doing planned maintenance work resulting in supply disruptions from Tuesday, 3 February. CAPE TOWN ANNOUNCES WATER SUPPLY INTERRUPTIONS The metro municipality said planned maintenance work, including pipe and valve installations, repairs, and replacements, would result in water supply disruption to these areas: Martinville, Benetownship, Roundby, Kalamunda – The water supply to these areas will be shut off from 09:00 until 17:00 on Tuesday, 4 February 2025. This will allow for the installation of a pressure-reducing valve (PRV) on the main water supply to these areas. Parts of Salt River – The water supply to parts of Salt River will also be shut off from 9:00 until 18:00 on Tuesday, 4 February.
